I transferred to Bellaire from Westbury. Francis was the first member of the football team I remember meeting. He was physically intimidating but spoke with a kind, measured and intelligent voice. He commanded respect in an unassuming way and had a warm, ingratiating personality. It was a pleasure to get to know Francis and I will miss him.
