Funeral services for Brenda Lake, age 60, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. Matt Idom officiating.
Mrs. Lake passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
She was born June 24, 1954, in Houston. Brenda married Ray and moved to Jacksonville where they lived on a farm and raised their children. She and Ray loved to travel and take their yearly summer vacation to Antigua. She enjoyed all the time she spent with her precious grandkids. "Nanna" was a woman who was always caring and optimistic. She left us all with beautiful memories and will be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Carol Klein and Ernest Klein.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Ray Lake, of Jacksonville; father, David Stinson and wife Ann, of Brenham; son, Preston Lake and wife Kayla, of Ponta; daughter, Cassie Bingham and husband Chris, of Jacksonville; brothers, Richard Klein, of Houston, Ben Klein and wife Cynthia, of Houston; sister, Debbie McLaughlin and husband Tom, of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Linda Beach Zoller and husband Mike, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Taylor, Bridger and Ryker Bingham, Carson and Aubrey Lake; nieces, Dawn Bacon and Rachel Mouser; and nephew, Sky Beach.
