Chuck sat behind me in Chemistry class during our junior year.
In 1971-May, Mrs. Hayward finished the lesson with a few minutes to spare, and told us we could study, talk quietly, that sort of thing.
Chuck and I started with the phrase, "Right On", and we changed one syllable at a time and ended with, "Show Boat".
Something along the lines of Right On - Right Off - Show Off - Show Boat.
For the remainder of the year, we would greet each other with, "Show Boat!"
I am sorry to hear of his passing. Chuck was a good guy, always smiling, and always very nice.
