Steve was a regular at our Bagel Shop breakfasts and at Cafe Express BHS gatherings for quite a few years. He brought books & books on CD to our meetings, which we all appreciated, and some of which I still have.
He surprised me by playing an old Savoy Brown tune on bass guitar at a large musicfest given by Sonny Garner in ~2017 out in Sugar Land.
Just saw him in 2020 at our USS HOUSTON CA-30 Reunion here, when he showed up for a talk & breakfast with us at the hotel. I had texted him--and heard back--a few days before he passed. I was in gym class at BHS w/Steve many times...A very solid guy, always affable, and he is most definitely missed.
